My mother Debbie and my Father Tom have been two of the most influential and significant people in my life. Their deep committed faith in Christ along with their examples of work and love have shaped the man I am today, in more ways than I could think to image. I am so grateful for you both and how you have raised me, supported me and prayed for me.
I know, I know... Jenna is the answer to 30 years worth of knee begging prayers for me and she is better then any of us hoped for! Thank you for your love and continued support of me and now, US, as we look to join these two wonderful families in July!

I am not sure where to even start in describing my father, Keith, and my mother, Rhonda.
Daddy...you have been the rock of our family. Firmly rooted in Christ, you have led us wisely and demonstrated complete humility and leadership through some of the most difficult hardships. I might have received my stubbornness from you but I have also received the kind of teaching and deeply rooted faith that I can only hope to one day pass on to my children.
Momma...what does a daughter of one of the most loving, kind, joyful and gracious people she's ever met or heard of say to you? You have been a mentor not only to me but to my friends and most of the women in our lives. You carry a loving kindness inside of you that can only come from Jesus because it never turns off. I am so deeply honored to be your daughter and your friend.
Thank you both for welcoming Brian into our family. I know that you (as well as many others!) have been praying about this ever since I was born. I love him for so many reasons....two big ones being that he is so strong in the same deep rooted faith and steadiness that I have respected in you, daddy, and he shows the thoughtful and gentle kindness that you, mom, have always bestowed on me and Nate. I love you both so much. Always remember that you are not losing a daughter, you are gaining a son (and a dog)!! (An awesome Dog!)

Father Chris Sorensen is the Abbot of the Mission Chattanooga, a Mission Abbey of the Anglican Communion. Before launching Mission Chatt, Chris served as the Senior Associate Pastor of Stanwich Church, in Greenwich, CT, for seven years. While in seminary (M.Div – Alliance Theological Seminary, Nyack, NY), Chris served as the Young Life Area Director in Darien, CT. Under his leadership, Darien Young Life became the largest Young Life ministry in New England, with more than 60% of the public high school participating. In addition to his church ministry work, Chris has guest lectured on topics such as homiletics, North American missions, and worship as an adjunct/guest professor at ATS and conferences across the United States. Chris is a worship singer/songwriter, as well as the lead-singer/guitarist for national recording artist Evensong Rising. Chris has been married to his wife Angie for 17 years, and they have two sons, Elijah (7) and Wilson (14).
Along with being a great pastor Chris and his wife Angie are among some of our dearest and closest friends. Brian lived with the Sorenson family for two and a half years while becoming a young pastor. They have both been great supporters and firm believers in what God has in store for each of us! We wouldn't be where we are, or who we are without the loving support and prayer of this dear family and their model of marriage, ministry, love and sacrifice!
And yes Chris is the mutual friend that failed miserably at playing matchmaker... or so we thought and the night we celebrated our engagement he had the opportunity to exclaim with joy, "I KNEW IT ALL ALONG!!!" So thank you Chris... you were right and we love you!
